Pocket Hanger

I made this Pocket Hanger for my Gone Artsy Store project.
The theme this month is Love and isn't Paris synonymous with
Love?  I had been asked to join a swap and my swap partner
loves Paris themed item so this hanger was perfect for that too.
For the swap we are to make 3 items to exchange and
purchase 3 items.  I stitched 3 pockets onto some muslin
fabric.   I printed the French picture onto fabric and sewed that
onto the pocket.  I dyed the White Crochet lace (GA84) with a
few pink colors and put it under the pocket.  I also added the
Eight Point Star Applique (GA170) and put a button in the center.
I painted the wooden child's hanger pink and distressed it with
some white.  I used the Cotton Single Chevron Style Trim (GA178)
to slip over the hanger.  I used the Scrolled and Scallop lace
across the top (GA321).
I cut the Pink Wide Swiss Embroidered lace (GA244) in half and
added it to the bottom.  I used the Double Edge White Embroidered
Lace (GA155) under the doily and stitched the frame over the Ecru
doily which is (GA262E).  I had some ruffle trim and used the Pink
Faux Pearl Garland (GA302) to circle it.  I wrote her name
on the frame with a fabric pen.
I made these Ribbon boards to insert into the pockets out of a
heavy mat board and covered the with printed paper.  I found the
template and paper on a blog here.  I wrapped them with some
lace I had for my swap partner.
I also made this chicken wire crown for Leticia.  You
can find the tutorial on my January's post.  I used
a piece of the Long Floral Applique (GA318).  The
shabby flower is made from lace remnants, dyed
seam binding, another (GA170) Eight Point
Applique and a bling from my stash.
I made a few more items that I will show you on Friday!
