A New Year!
2011 is here!!! I want to take the time to thank the Lord for many wonderful blessings throughout 2010. Even though I lost my Mother, I am thankful that He had given us so many years with her. She passed 2 months before her 82nd birthday. She never complained once throughout her chemo treatments. I miss her so much and look forward to the day I will see her again.
I look forward to what the Lord has in store for this new year! I am sure there will be trials and triumphs! My hopes for this new year is that I will love more, laugh more and grow more in my knowledge of Christ through His Word. Be strong and of good courage! Use the gifts that God has given you!

What a great message for the new year. Sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I learned something today from another Christian friend and want to pass it on to you. She lost her mother as well. She said, "She will be with her mother a lot longer than she will be without her." Of course meaning, when she spends an eternity in heaven with her. ReplyDeleteIt is always a blessing to hear of another sister in Christ. I am sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Your courage is inspiring. Isn't the Lord wonderful in how he brings us through the many situations that happen to us.
