Ice Skating Anyone?

I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and are off to a good start in the New Year!  I am so excited to see what 2012 holds for me and my family.  We are off and running already.  I will share all the information in another post.  So stay tuned!  We are still working on the kitchen remodel and it is slowly getting there.  Actually we started it the middle of November and should be done in mid January so it hasn't been too long.  Considering the fact that we tore down a wall, took all the plaster walls out, changed the window into french double doors, moved the guest room door over and had to reinforce the floor joists under the kitchen and lay all new plywood floors.  Whew!  Bad timing with the holidays but had to be done.  Pink walls again for me.  I decided against the striped walls that I had before and choose a different pink.  I designed the kitchen from floor to ceiling so you can be the judge of how I did with the design.  Anyway...

On to my project.  This is my 2nd project for Pro 31 Designs and perfect for Christmas decorating.  I had bought these skates at a thrift store awhile back and wanted to alter them.  I painted them pink first and then decided on beige then I added all the Pro 31 Design goodies, flowers, baubles, blingy mesh (so fun to work with), feathers and a feather boa to hang them with.  I hope you like them and will try altering a pair yourself.  If you like the items I used go and check out Esmeralda on etsy at Pro 31 Designs and tell her I sent you!  Thank you!
Have a blessed day! I want to leave you with this scripture.

Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD.
Psalm 31:24
