Mom's Gift Card Box

I made this box by coving a balsa box with my

Stampin Up Paper and Pro 31 Designs flowers,

one acrylic clear flower, a pearl spray,

 teeny tiny flower trim and ribbon.  I painted the

handle and then glued on a button. 

I covered the whole outside of the box and

whitewashed the inside.  Silly me forgot to take

a picture of the inside.  I wanted to keep it simple as much

as I was tempted to add more to it.  I liked it with less.

I just wrote out the word Mom.  I debated stamping

the word but decided to just use a pen.

Mom loved it!  I made it to put a gift card inside

but it would not fit! :(  Oh well, she still loved it!

This is my first attempt at altering one of those balsa

boxes but I will be doing it again.
