Shabby Altered Shutters

I took this picture in my kitchen but I altered them for
my craft room.  I had these laying around for a few
years so this was long overdue.
First I painted them with some Annie Sloan chalk paint.
Next I made the 4 panels with some muslin fabric I had.
I decided to make double ruffles for each.  I also added
2 pictures of Marie Antoinette that I had printed onto
fabric.
I made the mould using the IOD Mould
Baroque #3 GA glued it down with wood
glue while it was still wet.  After it dried I
painted it pink and then white again,
I framed the picture with the Loopy Faux
Pearl trim GA695 and put it on top of a doily.
I added the Long Floral applique GA318
on each side panel.
I stitched the Garden Arbor Lace GA135 onto the
top ruffle and the Floral Cathedral GA323 to the
bottom ruffle.  Here it is in my craft room!
Please go to Deb's shop to find your laces and
the moulds.  You can shop here!
