Hello friends! It's been a whole year since I posted but I am so glad to back with new projects for Sherri Baldy - My Besties Shabby Chic Design Team. Sherri has created beautiful Steam Punk images and here is one that I used. I love her! You can find her in the shop by clicking here! I used E50, E51, E53, E35 and RV10 for the skin. For the hair I used Y23, E21, E35, E57 and E47. The clothes and head band were colored with RV00, RV11, RV34, C00, C1 and C3.
It was fun to color this adorable girl with my Copic Markers. I also used some beautiful flowers in some gorgeous colors to accent the card which I added diamond dust to in different areas. I popped the image up on foam squares and also popped up the polka dot paper and Tilda background paper. I added a sentiment and finished it off with the matching button. Hope you will stay tuned for more Shabby Chic creations! Thanks for stopping by!

Wishing You Love
I just had to get my Copic Markers out and Color!!!
Sherri the owner of My Besties has blessed me with many
of her stamps and so I was excited to get a chance to color.

I used my Tilda paper which is not easy to do because
I like to hoard it. They probably won't bring this one back.
I also used my new dies that I got at my local Scrapbook
Store. This stamp is called Wishing You Love!
I colored her up late last night and made this card.
I know it's a bit early for Valentines Day but I
was in the mood for lots of pink. If you would
like to have this stamp or chose from many others
you can shop here!

Happy Birthday Month!
It's been awhile since I posted or even had a chance to do
any card making. I've been very busy with ministry and
celebrating my birthday all month! Oh what fun!
I hosted a 12 hour Summer Crop so I
celebrating my birthday all month! Oh what fun!
I hosted a 12 hour Summer Crop so I
finally had time to COLOR! I sure missed it!
I have been wanting to color this Sherri Baldy My Besties
stamp. I love the big hat and hair. This is a clear stamp
#MYB-0935. I used my Copic Markers to color her.
The sentiment is a Sizzix die. The flowers are from
I Am Roses.

Clever Chole Card
I wanted to share my latest card. I colored her up
a few weeks ago but wasn't able to put her on a card
until today. She is a My-Besties stamp.
Her name is Clever Chole #MYB-0025. You can
find her here. I used "Simple Stories diy boutique"
paper line and the new Tim Holtz die cuts that
included word "enjoy"!
Thanks for looking in! I hope you have a
blessed week!

Miss Mopsy Stamp and Sweet Afternoon Paper
I think this Miss Mopsy stamp is adorable and I had to try to
color up her hair. Let me know what you think.
I used Teresa Collins paper line called Sweet Afternoon.
I also used the buttons that came in the coordinating
diecut sheets. I added some flowers and distressed the
edges of the papers.
The wood embellishments are from Queen and Co,
I won them at a Scrapping Crop last year. I put
some pink paper behind the cutout section of the
wood to add some more pink! I hope you like it!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there!
I hope that you had a blessed day celebrating Mother's Day!
I am blessed to be the Mother of 7 children. I had a
relaxing day and my daughter and husband went out
of their way to make it a special day for me.
I was missing my Mother who left this world 5 years ago.
I miss her so much and so I went into my craft room and
started to color this pretty stamp. I loved her the moment
I saw this stamp working at CHA in Sherri Baldy's booth
for the My Besties line. I love the hair. I think I choose
stamps with lots of hair to color. If your interested in the
colors that I used to color her up just leave me a comment.
I also used the gold glass glitter that I got from Sherri too.
I decided to add it to the wand and in the crown jewels.
The paper I used is from the Tilda line and it is called
Apple Bloom! I got the paper from Traci the shop
owner of Art Attack Supplies. She has great prices
for the Tilda paper lines which I love!
I just layered up some of the different papers that
I die cut and the bright pink die cut is from
My Minds Eye. I added the wooden "wish"
to wish you all a Happy Mother's Day!

Milk Box with My Bestie Dancer
I love this Sherri Baldy My Bestie img601 because
of her eyes and her hair which was so fun to color.
So much fun! She is beautiful. If you would like
to purchase her, you can find her here.
I left the top open so the receiver of this gift can open it up
to get the handmade goodies out. I just added the chubby
cloths pin to hold it closed.
The paper is a Tilda paper line. You can't forget to
add some flowers and layers to the stamped image.
I cut out the opening so you could see all the beautiful
resin pieces and crocheted flowers but sealed it with
a piece of thin plastic to act as a window. The ballerina
is a die cut from the Tilda paper line.

Another New Release Card! Messy Jessie!
I love this Sherri Baldy My Besties "Messy Jessie" image because
I love to paint. Well, ok, maybe not love to do it but I enjoy
the finished product. I love turning something that may look
like trash into a lovely treasure. I also used Sherri's new
paper line called "Love Letters". I know I ended up covering
most of it up but I love the color combo.
Once I colored in her eyes, I decided to color her scarf
in the same color. Are you surprised that I used Pink??
I figured not! Lol! Pink makes me happy! What else
can I say? :) I made the base of the card smaller than I
usually do, so I could extend out beyond the borders.
I wanted to be able to use the card for either a birthday
or a celebration of any type so I didn't use an additional
sentiment inside. I just drew a small paint drip
on the corner and colored it in to match the front.
Added some of my favorite flowers and wood
embellishments to finish it off. If you would like
to have this digital image you can find her here.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I appreciate it!

Today is My Besties New Release Day
Sherri Baldy My Besties owner and designer has released
new stamps to give us something to celebrate on Tax day.
I decided to work on a boy card in celebration of
my grandson who will be making his arrival in June!
I colored him up with my copic markers and I tried
to match him up to some paper that I had from a
line called Paper Trunk. It's no longer in business
but I've had it in my paper stash and I love it. Such
great quality paper. Anyway, I added the flowers
that Sherri has in her shop also. I love that shade
of green! I used the butterflies from the
Martha Stewart punch and colored them up a bit.
I cut the word happy using Heidi Swapp's new die.
I know I will get plenty of use out of it.
I added glossy accents to the magnifying glass.
I used a gel pen to give the magnifier a metal look.
I love this little guy. He is adorable and I think I can
color him up again and again.

Anaheim Scrapbook Expo 2015
I was blessed to be able to work in My-Besties booth at
the Anaheim Scrapbook Expo 2015. This was a first
for me because usually I go to spend and not work but
I had so much fun and boy were we busy!
The picture above reminds me of "Where's Waldo?".
Can you see me among the crowd of focused shoppers?
I did bring my friend Denise since we usually go to the
Expo's to shop till we drop (uhh? did I say that?) She
loved it too! Everyone was nice and we enjoyed helping
them shop. There are so many stamps to choose from.
Sherri Baldy's booth was full of so many beautiful
items that we didn't need to go any where else!!!
Above are just a few of my new cards that were displayed
in the booth. It's a pinch me feeling to see them among
cards by such talented designers. Lord, You have
blessed me beyond measure!
Well, so I had to use the new goodies that Sherri
blessed me with. I love this Bashful Bettie Bestie
stamp so I thought I'd color her up. I created a
spritz color that matched a sheet of Sherri's new
paper line called Pink Pink Pink and colored white
seam binding. I added it under the paper flower.
I added some of the glimmer pigment to the hearts
in her hair. I used glossy accents and just
brushed the glimmer over it. So easy!
I cut the word love using Sherri's love die. I am
telling you that thing cuts out like butta!!! I applied
a thin coat of glue and brushed on the same pigment
color and some glitter too! I hope to see you at the
Ontario Scrapbook Expo in October 2015!

Camping, Cuddling and Coloring!
Camping, Cuddling and Coloring? Yes! I was blessed to be
able to do all 3 for a few days while celebrating our
18th Anniversary. I ordered some of the Tilda papers and
they come with some die cuts so I wanted to play with
them. I layered the pink plate die cut onto the lower
right, the bird and flowers on the upper right and the bird
with the flowers and aged note pad on the left side.
with the flowers and aged note pad on the left side.
I added a white cotton doily and pearly bling in the
corners. Thank you Codi Flanders for adding them to
my order as a gift! You can find her at
what she has available to order. My friend had added
some confetti words in our anniversary card so I decided
to add them to my card. I used happiness, joy and love!
I did add some gesso along some to the edges and onto a
few different die cuts. I LOVE this sweet digital image
from My-Besties. She has a nest with eggs in her hat so
that is why I added the birds. I tried to color her up to
match the paper.
We had such an awesome site to relax in. See my
copic markers on the table. My husband stamped
18 cards with pink hearts and the words
"Happy Anniversary" on each one and on the
inside he wrote down a memory representing
each of the 18 years of our marriage. He bought
his own inks and stamps. He bought memento inks
because that is what I use! lol. I cried! It was
a perfect gift and he is my gift too! I thank the
Lord for him everyday!!!!

My-Besties Hug-able Bestie Bears are out!
We all love bears right? Well I had to color up this adorable, hug-able Ballerina Bear.
Isn't she saying "Give me a hug"?
I added some vintage lace underneath her but it was hard because
I didn't want to cover the gorgeous paper. I just felt it needed the
a touch of lace. I also added some gesso around the edges. The tiny
doily was in a gift I won from Va who is Bianca 4430 on You Tube.
The roses are from "I Am Roses" and the tiny spray was a gift from
Alease from Leasy46 on You Tube. I love them!
The paper is a new line that is coming out next week called
"Pretty in Pink" and you will be able to find the bears here.
You have to see the paper!!! Of course, I love PINK but they
are soooo cute!

My 18th Anniversary Banner Plaque
Hubby and I will be celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary soon so I made
a plaque to hang in the RV when we go to celebrate!
Time really flies when you're having fun! I am so blessed to have my man!
I used a My-Besties image and colored it up with copics.
Have I mentioned how much I love working with my copics?
Taking the class at Kit and Clowder has really improved my coloring.
I love this image!!!
I used lots of "I Am Roses" flowers. I love the R19-00 roses.
I also added the rose buds which are T30-151. The large rose is
also a I Am Roses but I don't know the number. I used the leaves
that I hand embroidered and added a Tim Holtz metal embellishment.
I also added the Martha Stewart course glitter to the large rose.

CHA 2015! Need I say more!
I was super blessed to be able to attend the Craft and Hobby Association 2015.
The hubby and I stayed in our RV to avoid all the driving back and forth
plus we LOVE hanging out together in it. I brought my crafting supplies but
was way too tired each night to do any! LOL!
Here is my You Tube video of the banner and a few pictures!
Since I am on the International Design team for My-Besties I was able to attend!
This is the banner that I made for her booth. The booth was one of the most
beautiful booths there! Sherri Baldy the owner showcased her gorgeous new paper
lines, shimmer spritzers, glitters, shimmer blenders, metal embellies and stamps!
Oh, and the FLOWERS!
Just a few of the new lines of paper!
Just a few of the colors now available! Gorgeous! You must go and check out her
website to see all the new items! I had a great time getting to know Sherri and family,
Yolie and Michael, seeing all the crafty friends from You Tube and Facebook! Well...
After resting up from all the activities, I was so happy to finally sit in my craft room and
create!!! This is what I made. Getting ready for the next event...Valentines Day!!!
This is stamp #MYB-0217 called Baseball Bettie. I added some "I Am Roses"
and used Teresa Collins "Sweet Afternoon" paper collection.

Have You Ever Seen A Sailor Mermaid?
Well you have now! I colored this beauty before Christmas and I
wanted to share her with you. The weather is a bit chilly for a mermaid
but maybe this will take your mind off the below normal temperatures.
The anchor and the seahorse are die cuts that are covered in glass glitter.
I mixed the silver and the pink to give them more dimension. I also
added a few silver metal rhinestones to replace some of the bubbles.
I'm still trying out different backgrounds with the copic markers.
With all the added glitter and everything I decided to keep the
rest simple.

rest simple.
Can you see the pink glittered boat helm on the inside? You can never have too
much glitter, in my opinion. This is a stamp that was in my Design Team Package
but if you would like to buy this stamp in a digital image you can find her here.

Our trip to Carpinteria and a My-Besties card.
We had such beautiful sunsets while we camped at the beach for the last week. There were a few nights of rain but over all the weather was perfect. Our youngest daughter and her boyfriend drove up to spend the day with us and we had a great time. Of course, we took plenty of pictures.
I always bring some of my crafting supplies with me so I colored up this image by Sherri Baldy with my copic markers. I tried a different technique for the background and just added the shadow around the image. I think it helps her to stand out. When I saw the velvet ribbon at a local antique store I was pretty sure it would match. I'm glad I bought it. The papers are Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments line. If you are interested in purchasing her you can find the image here.

Exciting News!
I have been asked to join My Besties International Design Team!
This Shabby Chic Fabric Love Banner and a matching card is my first project.
I used My Besties fabric at each end. Cut around the images and then frayed the edges.
Machine embroidered the letters and added some swarovski crysals to the letters and the images.
Hand crocheted the flowers, stitched on a blingy button and added them to the ends.
Ripped the strips of fabric and tied them to the banner.
