Little Ducky

With Easter approaching I thought that I would make a gift

card holder for my second March Shabby Chic Besties project. 

I stamped this adorable Sherri Baldy image called Little Ducky.

I stamped it onto Recollections #110 white paper and colored her up with Copic markers.  You can find Sophia HERE!

Here are the Copic colors that I used:

Skin:  E50, E51, E53, E35, RV10

Hair:  Y23, E21, E35, E57, E47

Bunny Ears:  E71, E77, E79, R81, E04, BV00

Ducky:  Y13, Y21

 I used Kaiser Craft Miss Betty, Tilda and an

oldie, Girls Paperie paper.  I cut the bow from a die from

My Creative Time, the chicken wire die from Tim Holtz,  

and layed some leaves I die cut.  I also layered a Magnolia

DooHickey die cut on the edges.  The letters that spell out

"Easter" are from Girls Paperie.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there!

I hope that you had a blessed day celebrating Mother's Day!

I am blessed to be the Mother of 7 children.  I had a 

relaxing day and my daughter and husband went out

of their way to make it a special day for me.

I was missing my Mother who left this world 5 years ago.

I miss her so much and so I went into my craft room and

started to color this pretty stamp.  I loved her the moment

I saw this stamp working at CHA in Sherri Baldy's booth

for the My Besties line.  I love the hair.  I think I choose

stamps with lots of hair to color.  If your interested in the 

colors that I used to color her up just leave me a comment.

I also used the gold glass glitter that I got from Sherri too.

I decided to add it to the wand and in the crown jewels.

The paper I used is from the Tilda line and it is called

Apple Bloom!  I got the paper from Traci the shop

owner of Art Attack Supplies.  She has great prices

for the Tilda paper lines which I love!  

I just layered up some of the different papers that

I die cut and the bright pink die cut is from 

My Minds Eye.  I added the wooden "wish"

to wish you all a Happy Mother's Day!

Who would alter an Altoid Tin?

I must say at first I thought it would be silly 

to alter such a small tin but isn't it adorable?

I am hooked and I am planning on making more.   

First I painted the tin with pink chalky paint.

Then I covered the sides with Tilda paper.  I 

added paper to the inside and some pink tinsel 

ribbon on the bottom.  I then cut out the frame

on the front and added the top piece.  

The birds, eggs, and flowers are all die cuts from the

paper lines. I then added the lamb and the rabbit 

to the inside.  I painted a candle stick and then

added the birds nest on the bottom.
